RESEARCH STATEMENT

Global Network Visualization

My research interests broadly focus on Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Digitalization, and Intelligent Decision-Making in complex and decentralized supply chain environments. My early research investigated how independent operational planning decisions can be coordinated among supply chain partners to achieve near-optimal performance in dynamic and decentralized environments, with particular emphasis on negotiation-based coordination, mathematical programming, and incentive mechanisms. Building on this foundation, my current and future research focuses on the digitalization of decentralized supply chains, examining how digital technologies, data-driven approaches, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and digital platforms can enhance coordination, visibility, resilience, agility, and decision-making across supply chain networks. A particular research direction is the development of digital and intelligent coordination mechanisms that enable autonomous or semi-autonomous supply chain partners to collaborate effectively while preserving decentralized decision-making, information confidentiality, and equitable value sharing. This research aims to bridge traditional supply chain optimization and emerging digital technologies to design more adaptive, resilient, sustainable, and intelligent supply chains.
